Patrick GOERGEN, Avocat à la Cour,

Luxembourg citizen, born in 1963, was a civil servant in Luxembourg Public Administration from 1983 to 1995, and is since April 1995 a lawyer established at Luxembourg Bar. He opened in July 1998 his own law office in Luxembourg.

In 1994, he got his French maîtrise en droit at Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg, in 1995 his Luxembourg law certificate at "Centre Universitaire de Luxembourg", and in 2000 the DESS ("Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées") in European Community litigation at "Institut Universitaire International de Luxembourg" and Robert Schuman University Strasbourg. 

He is a mediator in criminal law (nominated by Luxembourg Minister of Justice on October 5, 1999, in the framework of the Luxembourg bill dated May 6, 1999) and is the Luxembourg Correspondent to JURIST World Law (since May 2000).

He serves as an Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University Luxembourg (since January 2001).

Patrick Goergen was President and founding member of Association des Juristes Spécialisés en Contentieux Communautaire (asbl), a Luxembourg based non-profit organization of specialized lawyers in European Union litigation (from December 1999 to December 2001).

He speaks and works in four languages (English, French, German and Luxembourgish).

Anna CHEBOTARYOVA, Avocate

a Ukraine national, has studied law at the universities of Strasbourg (France) and Luxembourg (G.D. of Luxembourg). She holds a Master in European law, specialisation in private law (2008), and a Master in European banking and finance law (2009). She has been admitted to Diekirch Bar Association in March 2010 (Etude Urbany & Lanners) and has joined Etude Patrick Goergen in February 2011. She works within the Litigation department of the firm. She fluently speaks English, French, Luxembourgish, Russian and Ukrainian.
